Bad-Assed Scotch Gifts for Your Groomsmen

You bravely proposed…the answer was a resounding “Yes!” 

Now, you need a stellar team to help you get through the planning and execution of the wedding process.  It’s time to choose your groomsmen.  They are truly great friends.  You’ve had great times sitting back and relaxing together with a stogie and a bottle of great scotch. You’ve sweated together over a cold brew while moving your furniture into your new house. They have always been there for you, come hell or high water. Now, they have been assigned their groomsmen tasks.  And your task is to show them how much you appreciate all they do for you!

But you probably have questions. What should you get for your groomsmen? When should you give them their presents? This article will help you navigate these tricky wedding etiquette questions.

When should you give them the gift?

There are multiple times when it would be appropriate to gift your groomsmen.  Gifts can be given at the bachelor party, rehearsal dinner, at a suit fitting, or whenever you happen to be hanging out with them. If your gift is something they can enjoy at the bachelor party, then you might want to choose that day to present it to them.

If you have a large wedding party—say, 12 groomsmen—then this can get really expensive really quickly. You may have to opt for a smaller dollar amount if you have a big wedding party. If you only have one or two groomsmen, you might be able to splurge a little more.
