extending a bottle as a gift, feel confident purchasing one listed below. Many
of them are bar staples anyway! Or maybe you’re just looking for a different
pour for the home bar. Whatever your reason, we’re happy you’ve stopped by.
We’d like to thank our Prestige brand ambassadors for helping us with this “Under 40” list. Shout out to @whiskeymoments for their input. And thanks to @onceuponadram for the bonus pick. Also, thanks to the entire Prestige crew here in Louisville for their contributions to this list. We’ve got some tasty, affordable whiskey bottles listed for you below!
Some of these aren’t even close to $40, y’all. You’re welcome. You’re welcome very much. Happy sipping and mixing! We hope you enjoy. We’re bringing you a variety with bourbon, rye, Scotch, and Canadian options.
Four Roses Small Batch | $28.99
Notes: We love the balance within. Honey-drizzled fruit with spice. Oh, yeah.
W.L. Weller Special Reserve
Notes: Our caramel gem. A wheater you’ll always want on hand!
Sazerac Rye | $29.99
Notes: Spicy, bitter, and only slightly sweet. Great in cocktails. And our crew likes that oily mouth-feel neat, please.
Redemption Rye | $31.99
Notes: So much spice. This one doesn’t play nice. A beautiful bully!
Johnnie Walker Red Label | @whiskymoments pick | $17.99
Notes: Best of both of these worlds--cedar tree and butterscotch. And, of course, some smoke on the finish.
Glenmorangie Original | $27.99
Notes: Rich and creamy toffee and coffee! It’s affordable and approachable.
Aberlour 12 Year | $42.99
This one comes in at just a bit over $40. Our brand ambassador @onceuponadram says it’s “great for intro Scotch drinkers! Smooth and not too overly sweet.” She knows her stuff, folks. Give this whisky a try for a few dollars more.
For more intro Scotch, read our blog post Scotch for Beginners.
Alberta Premium Dark Horse | $22.99
Notes: Bringing that rye game! Ginger, pepper, and pine tree harmony.
Pike Creek Port Barrel Finish | $25.99
Note: Light but flavor-heavy with spice, orange, and raisins. A great snag for the holidays!
