2. Thanksgiving Pomegranate Punch

Thanksgiving Pomegranate Punch Cocktail

Let’s face it. Thanksgiving dinner is one of the most delicious feasts of the year, and the food is undeniably decadent. Top off your hearty meal with a light, fruity, drink with a surprising ingredient: pomegranate. A Couple Cooks shares a scrumptious Thanksgiving Pomegranate Punch recipe that tastes even better than it looks! This light, fruity punch can be spiked or served as a mocktail, so everyone can share in the deliciousness!

Ingredients:

  • 48 ounces POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice (6 cups)2 large lemons, squeezed into juice (½ cup)
  • 4 to 5 large navel oranges, squeezed into juice (2 cups)
  • 24 ounces soda water (3 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 16 ounces bourbon, brandy, or white rum, optional (2 cups)
  • For the garnish: POM Wonderful Pomegranate Arils (seeds), mint, star anise, orange, and lemon slices

Directions:

Place all ingredients together in a serving bowl, adding the soda water last.
Top with garnishes and serve. (As a note, pomegranate arils sink to the bottom of a punch bowl. To keep them on top before serving, gently balance them on top of citrus wedges. They’ll settle to the bottom during serving.)

3. Spiced Pear and Bourbon Sparkler

Spiced Pear and Bourbon Sparkler

Shake things up at Thanksgiving dinner with a cocktail that we're almost certain you and your loved ones haven't tried before. Bon Appetit's Spiced Pear and Bourbon Sparkler is an effervescent, brightly colored beverage. It definitely evokes holiday cheer! The bright flavors of the pears paired with the warm, smoky bourbon create a contrast that will leave your tastebuds wanting more!

Ingredients:

  • ½ ounce spiced pear simple syrup
  • ½ ounce bourbon
  • ½ ounce lemon juice
  • 1-2 ounces Prosecco

Directions:

  • Pour the bourbon, spiced pear simple syrup, lemon juice, and ice into a cocktail shaker and shake for 30 seconds. When the surface of the cocktail shaker is cool to the touch, you’re done. (If using freshly squeezed lemon, make sure you strain the juice to avoid getting any seeds in your cocktail.) Strain the drink over a chilled coupe glass, and top it with the Prosecco of your choice.

4. Salted Caramel Apple Martini

Salted Caramel Apple Martini

The fourth cocktail on our list is less of a beverage and more of an indulgent, scintillating dessert. Home & Plate's Salted Caramel Apple Martini combines the rich, buttery, flavor of salted caramel, with a crisp, juicy apple.
