Its website boasts that their “...distillers handpick exceptional barrels to be enjoyed in their full, unblended glory.” This single barrel whiskey is bottled at a strength of 120 proof (60% ABV) and carries an age statement of nine years. “After a chilly evening passing out candy from a socially distanced safe distance, it’s time to warm up with some @knobcreek Single Barrel Reserve 120 proof bourbon. To me, the aroma has lots of oak and leather in it with some hints of brown sugar and vanilla. The taste is smooth and deceptively sweet, not what would be expected from the aroma.
